You're here on this site most likely because you're researching tankless hot water heaters. As I emphasize on this website, they are not for everyone. There is a significant up-front cost made all the greater because in many (most?) cases you would need to increase the capacity of your gas or electric lines. The electric heaters place a heavy burden on the power grid during peak hours, so paradoxically may not help with overall energy savings for the society.
